The Fortress was given the option to be gifted the old Kerkhoven nursing home. Through much prayer and coming together as leadership, we joyfully accepted this amazing gift and see it as an opportunity to serve the Kerhoven area. Everything in the Kingdom begins in prayer, and this gift is no exception; leadership meets weekly alongside community members in Kerkhoven to pray over the property. Asking the Lord for discernment and direction regarding the facility and what He would have it become to serve His children. As we continue to press in through prayer and seeking the Lord, there are basic needs and major construction/remodeling that need to take place prior to opening the facility.

We are called to be good stewards with all that has been given to us, individually and as a ministry. We understand that some people will have a heart just for the Kerkhoven project and want to assure you that fundraising is underway and separate per location.
